How the car industry could save some money

We’re in the market for a new car for my wife mid 2009. One model we’ve been looking at is the new Ford Fiesta.

Here’s what Ford’s marketing department came up with:

What do you take away after watching this spot? “Nice colors”.

Then I happened to see areview by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson:

What do you take away after watching this spot? “Great car!”

I seriously think the manufacturers should focus on making shows like Top Gear excited about their cars instead of wasting money on glossy movies that don’t tell you a lot about the car.

I know which one I liked more. What about you?
