Adam, give us the UN-Label FAST!

Ok, so podsafe music really rocks, I get it. Actually, it’s what I listen to almost exclusively right now.

But there’s a problem: Adam’s shownotes go into much detail and provide links to podshow.com as well as the artists pages, but there’s no consistent way to get the MP3s. Some of the artists are in iTunes, others only send CDs (some only to mainland USA, like Tom Acousti), others use

As I’m not a podcaster, what is it like for podcasters registered with podshow.com – can you download the MP3s directly?

  1. This post popped up on my radar last night as I was hanging out with Tom Acousti and thought I’d look around the net to see who is talking about him.

Podcasters can download songs from http://music.podshow.com to play on their shows. There is a mechanism coming to buy the tracks online very soon and one of the big things that I’m personally hoping for is that it won’t have boundaries because every time I talk to someone outside of the US who can’t buy a track from iTunes just because of where they are it irks me to no end. I still don’t understand why Apple has borders on their store. Makes no sense. You love music, you should be able to buy it no matter where you are in the world.
