Motorola RAZR V3i – no iTunes for germany

The successor of one of the most popular mobile phones this year, the Motorola RAZR V3i, also features Apple’s iTunes client for Motorola phones, like in the ROKR.

So, this combination of perfect style and good MP3 integration looks like it could be this years christmas smash hit (pun intended), right?

Wrong.

Some genius (…) decided that the german version would be delivered without iTunes software, most likely in anticipation for some music service to be provided by operators at a later point in time.

How stupid is that? Once again, this is totally ignoring the market’s voice. Furthermore: anybody willing to bet how long it will take before a patch file for the firmware can be found on the usual message boards?

Unbelievable.
