Trouble in Nano-Land

What started as a whisper is now becoming a roar: obviously there’s trouble with the iPod Nano’s build quality.

I have also noticed lots of scratches on my white iPod nano, which I can’t just polish off with a t-shirt. In fact – the plastic is so weak that trying to polish it with your t-shirt will result in even more scratches!

OK, a shiny plastic like this is prone to scratches, but this is a bit too much – I would at least expect the same durability as my mobile phone’s screen etstate.

Any other european/german iPod Nano owners with scratches? I’d like to hear from you…

  1. Not a nano owner personally, but I took a good look at my co-worker’s today and noticed lots of fine lines on the display. His can’t be more than a week old.

My new used mini has dings and scratches in the aluminium, but the screen is pristine.
