I pity the Katrina victims
These people may have been poorer than everybody thought:
The first thing I read today was Rogers Cadenhead’s report on how people were prevented from crossing a bridge that leads over the Mississippi River out of the city. Unbelievable.
Then I heard on german news today that a german Airbus plane carrying 15 tons of food was denied landing in the US because the ministry of agriculture feared that that food might bring mad cow disease (the food was officially certified to be free of mad cow disease).
Guys – this is a national emergency, not a PR management session. Get serious, will ya?
