Best MacSE mod yet

You’ve got to see this (or the detailed version here):

“Tinkerer Iain Sharp cleverly shoehorned a Mini-ITX motherboard into an old SE/30 box, creating a modern media server for his living-room.

“I wanted to make it as close to the original Mac as possible – keep the whole look and feel intact,” he writes. “It looks so much like the real thing you have to pinch yourself.”

Sharp’s Mac-ITX features a 40 Gbyte drive, slot-loading DVD/CD burner/player, video out (S-Video and composite) and USB 2.0 and Firewire ports.”

I’m sooooo jealous – wish I were able to build such a beast myself, I have several Mac SE’s sitting here…
