An hour with Kevin Mitnick

(Link found via Erik’s Linkblog) Internetnews.com has a two part interview with Kevin MItnick (part one, part two).

Kevin is probably still the number one person to talk to if you want to know how the social side of security works. Reading the article clearly shows the guy has matured a lot. He seems to be able to judge the responsibility you have when you find security flaws, and the amount of work it can generate on ‘the other side’.

Reading this interview, and looking at security related news of the last weeks, it appears to me that people still look at the technical side of security mostly – the human factor is not taken into account the way it should.
