Google: useless?

I find Google as a search engine increasingly useless. The search results get spammed by commercial services catching nearly every search word.
At first I thought generating a commercial Google service might be a solution, but it isn’t: it’s not the AdWords that spoil the results, it’s companies playing tricks with the Google algorithm to their advantage.
If this continues, this may well be the biggest threat to Google: useless search results, i.e. results you weren’t looking for, is reason enough to switch search engines. Time for action, Google!

  4. Which language version of Google do you use? Google.com is just as relevant for my searches today as it has ever been.

  7. Yeah that’s a pretty silly set of results. I think maybe they should tune their ? parsing. I filed a “Dissatisfied with results” for that search.
