iTunes DRM: update

The DRM problem I wrote about yesterday seems to be resolved, at least for that person:
“I was contacted by a very helpful individual from Apple’s Music Store group who explained the situation: The combination of a glitch in their single sign-on system and a misinformed or misguided support person had led to the problem I was having. He clarified that their terms do not restrict play outside of the US and that the glitch with my account had been fixed. Further, I’m certain that AMS customer support will be briefed, to put it mildly, on correct interpretation of the Terms of Sale.”
