Driving in Europe

Buzz Andersen has advice for americans driving a car in europe.
He shares my fondness of Ireland, so three more things about getting around there:

  • Never trust a road sign. This becomes more true with every mile you travel westwards.
  • Never believe an Irishman who tells you that your destination is “five minutes” away.
  • A white line on the road doesn’t necessarily mean the road is wide enough for two cars to pass.
