Sharp: no Zaurus in germany

This is weird: after announcing a co-operation with SAP, germany’s leading IT company, Sharp today announces (german article) that they won’t be selling their Zaurus PDA line in germany any more.
That’s a real pity – the SL-C700 looked really promising and could have sold well, as it builds on the stuff that made Psion successful, and would have been the only alternative for Psion 5MX users looking for a replacement. I know lots of Psion users who waited for the SL-C700, some of them even buying import versions.
