Ray Ozzie: Extreme Mobility

Ray doesn’t blog much, but when he does, it really matters.
Today he has published his thoughts on the mobile future. The article is one of the best I’ve read so far on the topic. He’s got the vision *and* the experience.
Yesterday, I was speaking on a consultant conference sponsored by Siemens ICN on some of the topics Ray mentions. As the consultant’s clients were banks, I don’t have too much hope that they’ll embrace mobile solutions in the near future. Even though all the enabling technologies are basically here, and even kids know how to use them – it seems true that the BigCos are mostly driven by fear and cost reduction. It’s time for a change, maybe it really has to be pushed from the individuals.
