Greedy provider

My provider just sent me an email telling me that sending emails with an email address being different from the one they gave me (i.e. one with my own domain) via their SMTP relay server is now a premium service and thus they want to charge me an extra EUR 3 per month to use it. Tell you what – you’ve just been downgraded to a pure IP provider, thank you very much.
Update: not only do they want to make me pay, even that version would be subject to restrictions: I may send 100 emails per day, or 1000 per month (whereby an email sent to 5 people counts as 5 emails!!), the mailbox is only 5 MB and holds emails up to 30 days. That is ridiculous, thank god I don’t have to use that…
