Twitter provides an interface to send tweets to your mobile phone as text messages.
Wouldn’t it be a great service offering for a mobile operator to allow you to maintain your Twitter ID and then send you incoming text messages as DM in Twitter?
The infrastructure required to do that would be rather small, but the marketing potential would be huge (remember that guy @BarackObama…? ).
