Twhirl and TinyURL – A suggestion

Enhancement request for Twhirl (and possibly other Twitter clients as well):

I understand you need to translate URLs via TinyURL in order to fit into 140 chars. Twhirl does a good job at that.

BUT: on receiving Tweets, why do I have to read TinyURLs, i.e. I have to click on Links without knowing where they might lead me? This is not only inconvenient, but may also be a secuity risk!

So, why can’t Twhirl just resolve the TinyURLs and present the full URL to me?
