I have been reading about the Chumby a lot recently, and it looks like the kind of device that could bridge the gap between the PC and the living room.

Tabrez has a great unboxing report with pictures and videos.

I have a friend in the US currently who could possibly bring one home in time for christmas.

So, is it worth it? Where are the hacks and creative uses for the chumby?
