Euro 2004

Ok, we lost. The boys are going to come home. The coach has resigned.

I hope that will not just be it – two years to go to the world cup – learn from Euro 2004, and build a fresh team around the ‘youngsters’ (who definitely played better than the ‘experienced’ players…). Get Timo Hildebrand into the team (hey, 885 minutes without a goal – he should be up to the job!) and find a leader on the field. Then there may be hope.

But then again, what do I know about soccer…
